It looks like the ipad is a cool multimedia device but won’t replace a computer. This device is limited to running only apple approved apps. No multitasking and lack of Flash support makes it a watered down web browsing device. There is no published info on the CPU either. We tolerate the limited functionality of the iphone, ipod touch because of the convenient size. In a full size computer we expect full size performance and usability. Lets hope the price comes down to make it cheaper than a net book which can run any program that windows  supports. Thousands of websites use Flash and the lack of it is a big loss.

The new Apple tablet or whatever it will be called seems to be the new “it” device. Apparently Apple is looking for as many ways as possible to have paid subscription services on this device. Do we really need to pay 700 to 1000 for a computer whose main purpose is to generate recurring fees from the user. 2010 is the start of a new year and a new decade. Let’s hope 2010 will be better than 2009 when many people lost their homes and jobs. The last decade has been very stressful for thousands of people from the poorest to the very rich. How come the rich are always getting bailouts. Wall street CEO’S make millions of dollars and we should bail them out? The thousands of people who lost their homes due to high interest rates and fees are out of luck. 700 billion could  help a lot of people struggling to stay in their homes. Consolidation of the banks will only make us pay more fees and higher rates as there will be less competition from other banks.

Direct Garment Printers (DTG) Cost too much.
I researched the latest in DTG printers and realize that with their high cost, there is a need for a low cost version that people can build in their basements and garages.
